A guide to documenting fire incidents and maintaining legal integrity.
Key Procedures:
Workflow: Move your investigation through the lifecycle: Draft → In Progress → Review → Finalized → Locked.
Important Note: Once a record is marked Finalized, it becomes locked to ensure the legal integrity of your case. Only Draft investigations can be deleted.
Efficiency: Use the "Insert Template" button in the narrative sections to pull in NFPA-compliant boilerplate text quickly.

Form Structure: Use the Investigation Form to record everything from the initial location and building specs to fire behavior and evidence.
